Adele is a small traditional village just 8km east of the town of Rethymon and 77 km from the city of Heraklion and the airport.

The area below the village of Adele is known as “Adelianos Kampos”  which is the flatland area that lies between the sea and the village.

Adele village is offering all the necessary amenities such as supermarkets, bakery, butcher’s shop, shoe shop, clothes, souvenir shop, jewelery shop, as well as organic food products and cosmetics made by olives and herbs of the unique Cretan nature.

Doctor’s service is also available in the village.

The beach near Adele is a very long stretch of golden sand with crystal clear waters. Because of its length, this beach does not really seem to be crowded. You'll find lots of water sports available here as well as a scuba diving center.
